Driving Directions

From the city of David you should take the road to Boquete (Via Boquete). The rental car agencies will help you find your way through David from the airport.

Boquete is about 50 kilometers (35 miles) from David. Once in Boquete stay on the main road until you are through the downtown area and have passed the church. Take a right at the fork in the road 100 meters past the church and drive past the historic Panamonte Hotel on your left and over the one lane bridge that crosses the Caldera River. Take your second right about 300 meters after the bridge and begin to ascend the road to Alto Jaramillo. You will pass the town of Jaramillo Arriba and the Los Establos Hotel. Continue up the road until you see two stone pillars with a cattle guard on your right hand side (about 3.3 kilometers up the hill). The flagstone driveway will lead you up to the Las Tijeras house and the Los Milanos wood shop.
